Job Description Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Data, Innovation, and Technology. The position is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2027. The Assistant Superintendent of Data, Innovation, and Technology serves as a senior leader of the District, ensuring that data governance, information systems, assessment practices, technology services, and digital learning environments are aligned with the District's mission and Strategic Plan. The position provides leadership and oversight for district wide informatics, data management, assessment systems, analytics and reporting, student information systems, technology services, cybersecurity, instructional technology, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies. By integrating data-informed decision-making and program evaluation, this position will monitor the effectiveness of district initiatives and operational systems.

This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, fostering innovation, and ensuring programs advance student learning.

The successful candidate will possess significant experience in educational leadership, data analysis, assessment, technology systems, and continuous improvement. This leader models integrity, professionalism, and respect while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, innovation, responsible data use, and continuous improvement. 

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications 1. Professional Educator License with General Administrative, Principal, or Superintendent Endorsement.

2. Minimum of a Master’s degree in Educational Administration.

3. Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in education, educational administration, assessment, data analysis, instructional technology, technology services, or related district leadership.

4. Possess knowledge and experience developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive student data and assessment systems that support instruction, intervention, student support, school improvement, and program evaluation.

5. Possess knowledge of local, state, and national assessment systems, accountability requirements, student data privacy, cybersecurity, accessibility, records management, and applicable laws and regulations.

6. Possess experience with student information systems, learning management systems, assessment platforms, data visualization tools, productivity platforms, and other enterprise technology systems.

7. Possess highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills to make sound and proactive decisions with little or no direction.

8. Possess excellent communication skills.

9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

This position comes with a competitive compensation package, family health and dental insurance, full tuition reimbursement, and basic life insurance coverage of up to two times the individual's annual base salary, capped at a maximum of $500,000. The base salary for licensed administrators will be determined by their placement on the teacher salary schedule, with an additional position-specific factor of 1.39, resulting in a salary range of $190,000 to $250,000.
