Kimberly St. Clair

Kimberly is a proud Learning Acceleration Specialist (LAS) with the Maricopa County School Superintendent's Office (CSS). The LAS position is the lynchpin of the Learning Acceleration Partnership, an ESSER funded program. In this position, Kimberly is embedded in a teacher-powered, alternative high school where she supports teachers in ensuring equitable learning experiences and outcomes for their at-risk students. She joined CSS in 2013, first as Peer Evaluator and later became the Professional Development Resources Coordinator. For 15 years, Kimberly taught high school ELA and served in a variety of leadership roles in the Glendale Union High School (Phoenix, AZ). One of her proudest accomplishments during that time was creating the Aspire to Teacher Program (Educators Rising); in fact, many of her former students went on to become professional educators. Additionally, Kimberly has extensive adult education experience ranging from designing and delivering professional development to teaching college and university courses.
