Mr. Pettiford has served in various Human Resource executive roles to include national non-profits, private and publicly-traded companies, a 186,000 employee Fortune 33 technology company and in K-12 and Higher Education. In these union and non-union roles, Pettiford has led an organization to win the Malcom Baldrige Quality Award, led mergers & acquisitions, compensation studies, and the implementation of performance and learning management systems. Pettiford possesses advanced degrees in business (MBA) and human resources (MS) and is an SPHR, SHRM-SCP, GPHR®, pHCLE, PMI-ACP®, SFC™, SMC®, CSM®, CSPO®, and has also completed post-graduate training in strategic leadership through Cornell University’s ILR school.
