Dawn Moorefield

I have serving the staff and students at Cascade School District for the last 25 years. I began my educational career as a 5th grade teacher in Missouri at Northwest R-1 School District in 1993. In 1997, I moved to Oregon where I began teaching for Cascade. In 2002, I accepted my first administrative position as a principal for Turner Elementary and a few years later I became principal of Cloverdale Elementary as well. In 2008, I accepted a position as the Director of Instructional Services and oversaw curriculum, instruction, and assessment for the district. When the recession hit in 2010, I was asked to take on the Director of Human Resources position in addition to my instructional services duties. My title was officially changed to Assistant Superintendent a few years later.
