Current events have shown us that even with all the planning and preparing we can do, no one can predict what the future holds. To meet the growing needs of our communities and families through these unprecedented times, it is essential that schools are able to navigate and operate in this new environment. We know how overwhelming, stressful and confusing this all is, but the good news is you don't have to do it all alone. This session will bring together experts from local school boards, Aetna and CVS to discuss solutions that can help districts work through these new challenges and provide a safer working environment for both teachers and students. This session will address the importance of comprehensive mental health supports; how to provide quality education in the middle of a pandemic; resources for school boards to help safely educate and support students; and resources for school employees to help navigate the stress of unforeseen circumstances.
