Job Title: Department Chair of Career and Technical Education (CTE) School District (Location of Position): Glenbrook High School District 225 City/State (of Position): Glenview, IL Where to Apply: https://jobs.redroverk12.com/ Position Open Until: 12/15/2025 Job Description: Glenbrook South High School seeks a dynamic educational professional to serve as the next Instructional Supervisor for Career and Technical Education (CTE). The position is scheduled to commence on July 28, 2026. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in the areas of instructional improvement, teacher evaluation, curriculum development, and other related instructional areas. This position serves as the primary instructional leader in the department, fulfilling both teaching and leadership duties and responsibilities. Experience with Career Pathways, PLTW, Perkins/CTEI grants, and internship programs is preferred. Applicants should hold the following education/experience qualifications: Master’s degree in the content area preferred or a Master’s degree in Education. Professional Educator License with a General Administration or Principal endorsement. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in teaching the corresponding content area in a High School setting. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in delivering professional development opportunities to staff or instructional leadership-related activities (preferred). Teacher Evaluator Designation (preferred). Current and extensive knowledge pertaining to best practices in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) and in the content area. Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students. Ability to present and produce documents at a high level of sophistication. Ability to make rational decisions, problem-solve, and effectuate change. Ability to learn and stay abreast of changes in policy, C&I, and content area standards. This position comes with a competitive compensation package, family health and dental insurance, full tuition reimbursement, and basic life insurance coverage of up to two times the individual's annual base salary, capped at a maximum of $500,000. The base salary for licensed administrators will be determined by their placement on the teacher salary schedule, with an additional position-specific factor of 1.11, resulting in a salary range of $90,098 to $120,000. |
