Performance Management Done Right: Building Accountability, Growth and Results

Tuesday, July 14 | 11:00am - 12:00pm CST

Presented by Shirlene Ogburn, Supervisor of Employee Services, Charles County Public Schools, La Plata, MD

Performance management is more than completing annual evaluations; it's an ongoing process that helps employees succeed, strengthens engagement and drives organizational performance. When done correctly, performance management creates clarity, fosters accountability and supports professional growth through meaningful conversations and continuous feedback.

This webinar will explore best practices for managing employee performance in a way that is fair, consistent and focused on development. Participants will learn how to set clear expectations, provide timely and constructive feedback, address performance concerns effectively and recognize accomplishments throughout the year. The session will also highlight the manager's role in creating a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.

This webinar is provided FREE for AASPA members and $50 for non-members.

Qualifies for 1 hour of continued education credit through SHRM, HRCI & pHCLE.
