This webinar highlights the inspiring history of Dunbar High School, the first Black public high school in the United States. Once a model of academic excellence and community pride, Dunbar’s history offers lessons on fostering environments where educators thrive. Participants will explore how this history can inform HR practices in modern school districts, recruiting, and supporting educators and leaders.
Key Outcomes:
  1. Learn about the legacy of Dunbar High School and its educators.
  2. Connect the success of Dunbar to strategies for retaining educators.

This webinar is FREE for members of AASPA and $25 for nonmembers. 

Qualifies for 1 hour of continued education credit through SHRM, HRCI & pHCLE.
