Lead Dodge City High School in delivering academic excellence and operational success. This role ensures high standards of instruction, compliance with district and state policies, and a positive, inclusive school culture.
Master’s degree in Educational Administration from an accredited university Current Kansas Building Leadership license Alternatives as deemed appropriate by the Board of Education
5 years of building leadership experience (Principal or Assistant Principal); 7 years preferred
Ensure instruction aligns with outcomes; adjust based on results Set and promote high performance expectations Collaborate with leadership, staff, and community Use data and research to drive school improvement Lead goal-setting aligned with district mission Foster a culture of collaboration and shared decision-making Champion communication among staff, students, parents, and community Strengthen the BSEL system and school climate Recruit, evaluate, and develop staff Manage budget, facilities, and extracurricular programs Support diverse students and staff, promoting cultural enrichment Oversee compliance, reporting, and campus safety Coordinate with district departments (transportation, ELL, nutrition, etc.) |
