2011-2012 AASPA Membership Promotion - Recruit Two New, Get One Free For You!
For every member who recruits two brand new members during the 2011-2012 membership year, a complimentary membership registration (of equal or lesser value) will be awarded to that member for the 2012-2013 membership year.
What: Recruit Two, Get a Free Membership for You! Recruit two new (not renewed) members to AASPA and receive your 2012-2013 registration (equal or lesser value) for free
Who: Any current AASPA member, of any type (active, business, associate, etc.) – Must be a 2011-12 active member to participate
When: All new members must be recruited by September 30, 2012 in order to receive complimentary 2012-2013 registration.
Why: To get members more involved and spread the word about AASPA’s great benefits and resources!
How: With any new member’s registration, the name of the referrer must be indicated. AASPA staff will keep track of referral names and award complimentary registrations as appropriate. Each person who refers two new members will receive a like-membership for free in 2012-1013, i.e. if an active member brings in two new active members, they will receive a free active membership (valued at $175). There will be no retroactive complimentary memberships awarded. Anyone who signs up after September 30, 2012 will be ineligible to be counted as a referral.

AASPA Announces New Executive Director
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Dr. Michael Redburn, previous superintendent of the Bozeman Public Schools and current faculty member in the Educational Leadership Program at Montana State University, has been hired as executive director of the American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA). Redburn will begin his duties with AASPA on September 1, splitting his time between Overland Park and Bozeman. His duties as executive director will focus on the human resource functions in schools through professional development and resource networking.
