Insider Legal Alert E-Newsletter
This monthly e-newsletter examines court cases and legislation of interest to school personnel professionals.
Perspective Newsletter
This quarterly newsletter publishes articles by members and others on essential personnel subjects, as well as showcases news and business of the association. Sent out electronically to members in February, August, and November of each year.

Best Practices Magazine
Published annually in May, Best Practices explores the "best practices" of school districts on one current topic. The theme for the 2008 Best Practices is "A 'Toolkit' For New Personnel/Human Resource Directors." Articles should be 800-2000 words (roughly 2-4 pages) and relate to the theme. Possible topic ideas could include:
• Organizing an HR office
• Interviewing strategies
• Tips for finding time to get the job done
• How to keep connected with the mission/vision of your school district
• Meeting government regulations
• Recruitment and retention tips
